The new Survey report, released by Live DMA and its members, gives an update of the live music sector’s activities, employment and finances before the pandemic and its impact since 2020. The Survey also reports for the first time on online events and views.

I am delighted to present to you the AEC Newsletter for May 2023.
It has been a busy time for the association, with advocacy taking a prominent place in our most recent work. Alongside ELIA, Culture Action Europe and the EMC, AEC issued a Joint Response to the Horizon Europe Coordination and Support Action Calls 2023. The Call's text reinterpreted the STEAM (Science Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) concept almost exclusively as a means to bridge the gender gap within the STEM fields. The group considered that this framing undermined the original raison d’être of STEAM — its inherent potential to promote creativity and innovation - and made the case in the strongest terms.
