Carlsbad, CA, November 13, 2014—The NAMM Foundation empowers life-enriching, after-school arts programs through a new partnership with the National Arts and Humanities Youth Program (NAHYP) Awards. During a White House ceremony on November 10, 2014, the NAMM Foundation stepped up as the lead sponsor of the awards, which recognize the country's best creative youth development programs that engage students in the arts to increase academic achievement, improve literacy abilities, communication and cultural awareness.

"Opérabus" has recently been inaugurated in Valenciennes (France). Along with 50 volunteers from his association, Yannick Lemaire, artistic director of Embar(o)quement Festival (an affiliate of REMA, the European Early Music Network) has completed his challenge; that of transforming a bus into a real opera theatre, with stage, backstage, seats, and high quality baroque design.

[PRESS RELEASE - Brussels, Belgium] The Festival Academy's Atelier for Young Festival Managers, the training programme initiated by the European Festivals Association (EFA), announces seven renowned festival directors from all over the world who will participate in the next edition in Poznan, Poland from 20-27 October 2014 organised in collaboration with the Malta Festival Poznan.
The Festival Academy's 2015 Atelier for Young Festival Managers, initiated by the European Festivals Association (EFA), will take place from 21 to 27 March 2015 in Beirut, Lebanon, in collaboration with the Beiteddine Art Festival. Young festival managers from all over the world are invited to apply until 12 September 2014. In the vibrant Lebanese cultural city, some 10 renowned festival directors will guide 45 participants through the 7-day training programme."After the Atelier for Young Festival Managers planned for 2013 had to be postponed, I am happy to reiterate my invitation to host the first Atelier in the Arab world in Beirut, Lebanon in March 2015. I am looking forward to welcoming all the young festival managers in this artistically vibrant city that is Beirut," said Nora Joumblatt, President of the Beiteddine Art Festival.
