The IMC Music Rights Award, presented biennially, recognises programs or projects supporting in an exemplary way one or more of the #FiveMusicRights. It highlights outstanding efforts to support these rights and promote IMC’s commitment to them. Together, we can strengthen support for these initiatives and enhance advocacy for the #FiveMusicRights | It aims to create a better compensation model for music creators, unlike current platforms. The project is creating a new streaming platform, to demonstrate that a fairer streaming model is not only possible but also financially sustainable. With your support, we can build a more equitable music ecosystem today, and for future generations | A key platform promoting contemporary music through radio broadcasts. Over 30 national radio networks showcase their latest productions, select the best ones and then broadcast them worldwide. Since 1955, the IRC has promoted over 500 composers.
