The Chengdu Youth Accordion Art Week was founded in 2023 by GADE Music Research Institute and is held annually. Centered on promoting the development of accordion basic education, the event focuses on cultivating young talents and serving grassroots teachers through concerts and forum activities. It adheres to the principles of “government platform-building, institutional support, and extensive participation from outstanding educational organizations,” while maintaining a non-profit nature to give back to society.
This edition will include: Artisan Workshops, Themed Performances, Accordion Appreciation Sessions, Champion Youth Performances, Accordion Education Forum, Artist Concerts, and Themed Lectures. Participants will include artists, professional accordion instructors, manufacturer representatives, practitioners, and enthusiasts from China, Canada, Russia, Serbia, and New Zealand.
