Your proposals will be highlighted in our communications and statements to political stakeholders on the EU level as well as other enabling institutions (in cooperation with more networks). This decision was reached through a unanimous vote of the ISME Board on March 30, 2020 after consultation with the Helsinki 2020 Conference Team and Uniarts Helsinki.

the coronavirus keeps everything in suspense, including the daily AEC business.
Long-planned events have to be cancelled or postponed, many institutions are closed and working hard on finding solutions to face the situation, and for many freelance musicians, corona has, in addition to all other aspects, serious economic consequences. We are in touch about this with political decision makers.

The AEC office wishes you all a lot of strength to get through these challenging times well and, above all, healthy. And don't forget to enjoy springtime, still optimistic that corona won't last longer as spring does.
